amo is looking for a Location Data Engineer in Paris to work with large-scale datasets generated by its products and turn raw data into signals, insights and features. The role spans the whole data lifecycle: building reliable pipelines, exploring complex datasets, developing features and creating tools and visualizations to understand data quality and impact. It is a technical and product-oriented role, working closely with product, engineering and data teams.
Key responsibilities

- Develop metrics, dashboards and visualizations, and tooling to inspect examples and debug pipelines.
- Work with product and engineering teams to use data to make products smarter, using statistics, heuristics, experimentation or machine learning, and iterate on features and models.
- Monitor data quality, investigate anomalies, and keep the data infrastructure performant, reliable and maintainable.
Required profile
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with data-intensive systems.
- Very comfortable with SQL and large datasets.
- Ability to turn exploratory analysis into production-ready pipelines and features.
- Clear communication of findings through metrics, visualizations and dashboards.
- Preferred: experience with consumer-facing data products, high-volume event, behavioral, sensor, geospatial or time-series data, and familiarity with statistics, machine learning or feature engineering.
Required skills
- SQL
- Spark, DBT, Dagster, BigQuery, ClickHouse, DuckDB or similar tools
- Data modeling, pipeline orchestration and large-scale data processing
