DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

LSEG is looking for a Security Solution Administrator (DevSecOps) to join its team in Paris. The role manages and secures the IT infrastructure, keeping it resilient, scalable and highly available. It suits someone with a passion for technology who wants to deliver infrastructure used by major companies.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the security capabilities of the infrastructure platform running optimally.
• Implement, tune and administer security tooling, propose system changes and better practices, and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Monitor security systems for suspicious activity and oversee access controls so only authorised personnel access sensitive information.
• Contribute to responding to and recovering from security incidents.
• Work with the IT Security Team (SecOps) to align controls with group security policies, group library controls and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on resource estimates, growth planning and scalability.
• Manage and configure firewalls, switches and other network security devices.
• Maintain VMware security (vCenter, NSX, NKP).
• Configure vulnerability management tools and follow up on remediation.
• Set up logs and alerts to an incident detection service.
• Manage identity and access, including privileged access management.
• Automate security processes with scripts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years as a Security Engineer or similar role, managing security solutions in regulated or highly available environments.
• At least 3 years in regulated environments requiring scripting and configuration automation.
