Local SEO Project Manager (WordPress, GMB, Citations)

About the role

We are seeking a Local SEO Project Manager to lead high‑volume, scalable SEO campaigns for a diverse portfolio of small and medium‑sized businesses. The role is fully remote and combines hands‑on technical SEO work with structured project management, allowing you to impact hundreds of client projects while refining agency‑wide processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute local SEO campaigns across multiple industries and locations.
• Install, configure, and maintain WordPress SEO plugins such as Rank Math and Yoast.
• Optimize Google Business Profiles to improve map‑pack visibility.
• Build, audit, and clean up business citations using platforms like BrightLocal, Yext, and Whitespark.
• Implement on‑page and technical optimizations to boost local rankings and conversions.
• Monitor performance, track rankings, and deliver regular reports with actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate recurring SEO tasks to ensure consistency, timeliness, and quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing local SEO campaigns at scale, preferably in an agency setting.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
