Lead Deployment Strategist

About the role

Salesforce is looking for a Lead Deployment Strategist to act as a customer‑facing advisor who defines AI strategy, shapes agentic solutions and drives measurable adoption for enterprise customers. You will work alongside Forward Deployed Engineers to translate complex business challenges into AI deployments that deliver real value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end customer engagements across the full value lifecycle (Identify → Commit → Deploy → Consume).
• Define the customer’s Agentic AI strategy, run design workshops and architect solutions spanning Salesforce’s AI platform, Data Cloud and enterprise systems.
• Manage delivery timelines, stakeholder communication, risk escalation and progress reporting.
• Own adoption, consumption and expansion metrics, identifying blockers early and driving value realization.
• Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to align strategy with technical execution and keep the team on track.

Required profile

• 4+ years experience in strategic solutioning, technical advisory or delivery leadership for enterprise cloud/SaaS.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Prior customer‑facing delivery experience (consulting, professional services or technical advisory).
• Demonstrated understanding of the Salesforce platform, Agentic AI capabilities and Data Cloud.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to customer sites.
