Lead Controls & Finance Enablement

About the role

Roche is seeking a Lead Controls & Finance Enablement to partner with the local commercial organization and the broader finance network within Roche Diagnostics. You will lead a team of Finance Excellence Partners, manage the Sapin II controls framework, and act as a key finance advisor to drive financial awareness and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Finance Excellence Partners team, fostering psychological safety and innovation.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end Sapin II controls framework, adapt controls to regulatory changes, and report key risks to senior leadership.
• Serve as the primary finance advisor for commercial activities such as M&A, product launches, and business model implementations.
• Identify process inefficiencies during internal controls and collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements.
• Work closely with the Country Chief Accountant and Roche Shared Service Center to ensure accurate statutory closing and management reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Control, Auditing or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance business partnering, accounting, auditing or related fields.
• Previous leadership experience; healthcare industry background is a plus.
• Fluency in French and English (C1 level or higher).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, IFRS and French GAAP.
• Experience with internal control frameworks and procedure writing.
• Proficiency in SAP FI‑CO modules.
