Labourer – Civil Construction

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Labourer to join our civil construction team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site while supporting supervisors in daily tasks and equipment handling.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized job site and vehicle.
• Perform daily pre‑trip inspections, complete log documents and submit paperwork.
• Use and care for company tools, small equipment, and, when required, dump trucks.
• Follow all safety procedures, conduct safety tailgate meetings, and ensure compliance with the Highway Traffic Act.
• Assist supervisors with equipment and material deliveries, permit management, and site documentation.
• Mentor new employees, provide daily goals, and support team leadership.

Required profile

• Positive attitude, punctuality and flexibility to work varied hours.
• Physical ability to perform labour outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s licence; a standard driver’s licence is an asset.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of civil construction experience.
• Strong teamwork, communication and conflict‑resolution skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of laser level operation.
• Familiarity with Topcon GPS system.
• Experience operating small construction equipment.
• Dump‑truck driving experience (asset).
