Key Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Key Account Manager to oversee daily operations and strategic growth of our core wholesale clients in the vaping, CBD, and tobacco FMCG sectors. The role requires bilingual communication in Mandarin and English and a strong commercial mindset to drive sales and partnership success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day client orders, inventory, and operational issues for core wholesale accounts.
• Develop and maintain long‑term, mutually beneficial relationships with key distributors and retailers.
• Conduct regular business reviews covering sales volume, inventory levels, and product feedback.
• Implement and monitor internal pricing strategies and channel promotion policies, including budget tracking and post‑campaign analysis.
• Collect, organize, and analyse sales and inventory data to generate actionable insights.
• Perform market research to identify new opportunities and monitor competitor activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of key account, national account, or channel sales experience in vaping, CBD, tobacco, or related FMCG industries.
• Established network with distributors or retailers in the vaping sector is a strong advantage.
• Native or fluent proficiency in Mandarin and English for client communication and internal reporting.
• Self‑motivated, highly organized freelancer capable of working independently.
• Clear understanding of regulatory requirements for vaping products in target markets.
