About the role

Archipel Habitat, the leading public housing office in Rennes Métropole, is seeking a real estate lawyer for a 12‑month replacement. The role is placed within the Development and Heritage Directorate and focuses on land acquisition, rehabilitation, and construction projects for social housing.

Key responsibilities

• Validate land purchase agreements, building acquisitions and long‑term lease contracts.
• Review and approve notarial matrices for lease‑to‑ownership, option lifts, PSLA transfers, and real‑solidarity leases.
• Ensure compliance with all pre‑construction legal formalities, including internal resolutions and authorisations.
• Define the optimal legal structure for complex property groups (ASL, AFUL, co‑ownership, macro‑lots) and validate related documents.
• Provide legal advice to management on land‑related issues and draft legal memoranda.
• Manage urban planning and construction litigation in coordination with external counsel and internal teams.

Required profile

• University degree (Bac+4 to Bac+5) in law, construction or urban planning.
• Significant experience in a real‑estate development company, housing provider or notarial office.
• Strong knowledge of real‑estate and land law, as well as real‑estate taxation.
• Excellent drafting and analytical abilities.
• Team‑oriented with good relational skills for internal and external stakeholders.
