Junior Data Analyst – Entry Level

About the role

This position supports business and operational decision‑making by turning raw data into actionable insights. You will work with multiple data sources to create clear visualisations and reports that help stakeholders understand performance, trends, and customer behaviour.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organise, clean and validate data from various systems.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data visualisations.
• Analyse large data sets to identify patterns, opportunities, risks and improvement areas.
• Present findings through concise reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on forecasting, performance measurement and process optimisation.
• Ensure data integrity and support data‑driven decisions across the organisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Effective organisational and time‑management capabilities to handle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
• Experience using reporting platforms and data visualisation software.
• Familiarity with SQL and basic database concepts.
• Understanding of statistical methodologies and data‑management practices.
• Knowledge of business intelligence, reporting frameworks, data governance, forecasting and KPI analysis.
• Experience with dashboard development and data storytelling is a plus.
