Japan Content Specialist

About the role

Bump is looking for an ambitious, growth-obsessed Content Specialist to bring Japanese internet culture into its Paris office and lead all content and creator efforts for the Japanese market. The goal is to make Bump a must-have app in Japan and keep it there.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Japanese market for Bump and lead all content and creator efforts for it.
• Create high-performing TikToks, Reels and UGC-style ads that people want to watch.
• Build and manage a pipeline of Japanese creators and run influencer campaigns with top Japanese creators and micro-influencers.
• Work closely with paid marketing to turn great content into strong performance.
• Write briefs, give notes and help external creators shine.
• Jump on trends early and collaborate daily in the Paris office with growth, distribution and product teams.
• Join brainstorms, test ideas fast, support launches, events and Japan-focused activations, and help shape the creative direction of Bump.

Required profile

• 1-5+ years making short-form content (brand, agency, influencer or creator), with a focus on the quality of the work.
• Experience making content for ads, especially UGC.
• Experience managing creators or giving creative feedback.
• Deep knowledge of TikTok and Instagram trends and the Japanese creator landscape.
• Fluent Japanese and English, and experience living in Japan.
• Willingness to work in person in Paris.
