IT Technician Apprentice

About the role

Join the IT team at AboutSwan as an IT Technician Apprentice. You will provide first‑level support in a fully Mac‑based environment, helping employees get up and running with secure, reliable tools from day one while learning core IT operations and automation practices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and troubleshoot day‑to‑day technical issues on macOS and SaaS applications.
• Prepare and manage onboarding of new hires, including device provisioning, account creation, and software installation.
• Maintain the IT asset inventory, track equipment assignments and returns.
• Document procedures, common fixes, and setup processes in an internal knowledge base.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop scripts and workflows that automate repetitive tasks.
• Ensure basic security hygiene on devices, such as applying patches, enabling encryption, and performing updates.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about technology and eager to learn IT operations.
• Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment.
