IT Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT Support Technician to provide Level 1 and Level 2 assistance to our growing team of researchers, engineers and business professionals. You will join a small IT team of six and be responsible for ensuring a smooth and secure digital experience for all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Handle IT ticketing, problem escalation and provide timely support to end‑users.
• Manage employee onboarding and off‑boarding, including automated workstation provisioning, access rights, inventory tracking and equipment return.
• Set up and maintain computers, videoconferencing systems and basic server or network hardware.
• Provide on‑site support for Windows, macOS and Linux workstations and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Maintain device security and compliance through mobile device management solutions.
• Track and manage the inventory of all IT assets and software licenses.
• Administer user accounts, office suite, messaging, VPN and password‑manager access.

Required profile

• Experience delivering Level 1/2 IT support in a fast‑growing environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small IT team.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Videoconferencing equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of servers and network hardware.
• Mobile device management (MDM) tools.
• Inventory and asset management.
• Software licensing and access‑rights administration.
