IT Support Engineer

About the role

IEC Telecom Group is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its Technical & Information Systems Department. The role involves ensuring the reliability and performance of both internal and customer‑facing IT and telecommunications infrastructures in a fast‑growing international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain network and telecommunications equipment for the company and its customers.
• Diagnose and resolve IT incidents remotely or on‑site, coordinating with service providers and field teams.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams and project specifications.
• Manage IT procurement, purchase tracking and hardware inventory.
• Promote cybersecurity best practices and enhance the security of infrastructures, digital assets and data.
• Support technical project delivery, contribute to automation tools and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with all departments and act as liaison between vendors, field teams and support services.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Network & Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
• Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, autonomous and adaptable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑oriented mindset.
• Curious about new technologies and eager to grow in a dynamic SME environment.
