Investment & Strategy Analyst

About the role

Dedale Intelligence is seeking an Investment & Strategy Analyst to conduct deep fundamental research on software and technology companies. The analyst will support multi‑million investment decisions by delivering high‑quality due diligence, financial analysis, and strategic insights.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep fundamental research on software and technology companies.
• Perform strategic due diligence and financial analysis on publicly listed and privately owned firms.
• Leverage quantitative modelling and qualitative insights from expert interviews.
• Collaborate with peers and ex‑Tier 1 management consultants to produce research deliverables.
• Deliver high‑quality reports that inform multi‑million investment decisions.
• Communicate research findings both internally and externally.
• Monitor identified companies on a daily basis.
• Prepare financial research, strategic screening, and communication materials for members.
• Lead English‑language interviews with professional experts.
• Support process improvement and screening of new companies.

Required profile

• Graduated from a Tier 1 engineering or business school with a focus on Business, Finance, Corporate Finance, Engineering or Strategy.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in strategy, finance or business, including internships in finance, tech, startups or corporates.
• Excellent analytical abilities and strong Excel skills.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to identify key inputs and draw smart correlations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English; additional languages (French, German, Italian) are a plus.
• Team‑oriented, collaborative and able to deliver high‑quality work individually.
