Off-Cycle Analyst Internship in Paris

About the role

IK Partners is a European private equity firm with a dedicated French investment team. The team is seeking an Off‑Cycle Analyst Intern to support deal activities in the first half of 2027, with a six‑month placement starting in January or March 2027 in Paris.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑depth market and industry research.
• Identify and analyse potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct detailed analysis of financial and corporate information.
• Build operating models and carry out valuation exercises.
• Participate in the execution of M&A transactions and related financings.
• Support portfolio company management teams on strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in finance, economics, engineering or related fields.
• Previous internship experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, M&A advisory or strategic consulting.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Financial literacy with an analytical mindset.
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team.
