About the role

SurplusMap is seeking motivated interns to join its fast‑growing startup focused on electrifying mobility worldwide. Interns will work across several domains, including data science, AI, technology, UX/UI design, energy, and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights and develop geospatial intelligence algorithms.
• Collaborate on AI‑driven, map‑based technology projects and manage complex data infrastructures.
• Design intuitive user experiences for the company’s platform.
• Support projects that optimise and expand EV charging infrastructure and other renewable energy initiatives.
• Assist business development activities such as market expansion, partnership building, and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to the green transition.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Preference for candidates based in Oslo or willing to relocate short‑term.
