Insurance Risk & Strategy Expert

About the role

Alan is looking for a Risk Expert to design and deliver automated, scalable risk assessment tools for its health, death and disability insurance lines. The role sits at the heart of the Insurance Team, collaborating with data scientists, designers, engineers and product managers to protect the company’s financial stability while supporting its growth across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain risk modeling frameworks, including Solvency II balance‑sheet and capital‑requirements projections.
• Automate the creation of regulatory quantitative reports (SFCR, RSR, ORSA) and support narrative preparation.
• Model emerging risks from new products, branches, international expansion or investments.
• Challenge the company’s risk appetite, propose new risk metrics and build monitoring tools.
• Prepare board‑meeting materials and communicate capital evolution and market risks to investors.
• Support discussions with supervisors and assist in the assessment of international market opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance risk modeling and capital management, preferably within health, death or disability lines.
• Strong knowledge of Solvency II regulatory requirements and quantitative reporting.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams (data science, engineering, product, sales).
• Analytical mindset with a track record of building automated risk tools.
