Instructor & Site Manager – Training & Facility Operations

About the role

SKYLOTEC seeks a motivated Instructor & Site Manager to lead technical training on working at heights within a wind‑turbine environment at its GWO centre in the Paris region. The role combines hands‑on training, safety supervision, and day‑to‑day site management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical training on GWO standards, electric winch use, evacuation systems and PPE competence.
• Supervise participants during practical exercises, ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures.
• Inspect, maintain and manage PPE and training equipment.
• Organise daily site operations, brief and oversee external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Training Manager to develop new modules and support audit activities.
• Provide technical expertise to the sales team at trade shows, client meetings and online presentations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical training with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent knowledge of safety standards and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in wind‑energy, rope‑access work and/or first‑aid rescue.
• Fluent English for communication with the German head office.
• Willingness to travel for onsite trainings.
