About the role
This 6‑month fixed‑term position supports the IT infrastructure by handling device lifecycle activities, providing on‑site assistance, and maintaining accurate asset records. The role is focused on delivering reliable hardware services to end‑users across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities
- Perform IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Deinstall) activities for desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations and peripherals.
- Install, configure and deploy hardware for new joiners and during onboarding.
- Deinstall and recover devices during employee exits and refresh programmes.
- Execute break‑fix troubleshooting and replace faulty hardware components.
- Provide on‑site floor‑walk and TechBar support for end‑user issues.
- Maintain and update asset inventory and CMDB records.
- Coordinate device relocations across sites and perform post‑installation checks.
- Ensure compliance with security, organisational IT standards and provide progress updates.
Required profile
- Experience with IMACD processes and hardware lifecycle management.
- Ability to deliver on‑site technical support and floor‑walk assistance.
- Familiarity with asset inventory systems and CMDB updates.
- Attention to security and compliance standards.
