Information Systems Security Analyst – Reserve List

About the role

INTERPOL is seeking qualified professionals to join its Security Operations Center (SOC) in Lyon as Information Systems Security Analysts on a reserve list. The role focuses on protecting the organization’s information assets by monitoring, maintaining, and improving a range of security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain security solutions such as Unified Threat Management (UTM), messaging gateways, SIEM platforms, encryption tools, and endpoint protection.
• Continuously monitor server, firewall, intrusion detection, web filtering, and antivirus logs for suspicious activity.
• Analyze alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate response actions to prevent compromise.
• Collaborate with the SOC manager and team members to enhance detection rules and improve overall security posture.
• Document findings, produce reports, and contribute to the development of security policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in information security operations, with the ability to provide official proof of employment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for log analysis and incident investigation.
• Ability to work onsite in Lyon and be available for short‑notice testing and interviews.
