HR & Payroll Admin

About the role

Kerten Hospitality is seeking an HR & Payroll Admin to support its growing portfolio of hospitality properties in the Loire Valley, France. The successful candidate will manage day‑to‑day HR operations, ensure accurate payroll processing, and contribute to recruitment and employee engagement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee records, contracts, and personnel files with high data integrity.
• Collect, verify, and process attendance, leave, and overtime data for timely payroll execution.
• Support the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding.
• Communicate HR policies and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
• Act as primary point of contact for employee inquiries and day‑to‑day relations, escalating when needed.
• Coordinate training sessions, track attendance, and assist performance review cycles.
• Drive employee engagement programs, including recognition and wellness activities.
• Prepare HR reports and trackers for property and regional leadership.
• Liaise with property management to align HR practices with operational needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of HR and/or payroll administration experience, preferably in hospitality or a service‑driven environment.
• Solid knowledge of French labor law and HR compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Familiarity with payroll platforms.
• Use of recruitment tools.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
