Health & Benefits Consultant

About the role

The Health & Benefits (H&B) Consultant supports clients on financial, contractual and administrative aspects of health benefit programs. You will work closely with senior consultants, actuaries and internal analysts to deliver data‑driven insights and ensure seamless implementation of client strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial, contract and administrative analysis for health benefit projects.
• Manage project deliverables, timelines and quality, delegating work to junior team members.
• Partner with actuaries and analysts to conduct underwriting, data analytics and funding analysis.
• Develop and present benchmark data, executive summaries and client‑friendly reports.
• Lead the RFP process with health insurance carriers and coordinate carrier‑vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, templates, peer‑review procedures and transparency requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in health benefits consulting or related financial analysis.
• Strong project‑management skills with the ability to oversee junior colleagues.
• Excellent client‑facing communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
