Group Internal Auditor (M/W)

About the role

Air Liquide is looking for a Group Internal Auditor to join its Group Internal Audit Department. The role covers audit and consulting assignments within Air Liquide entities or global functions, based on the Group audit plan derived from Group risk assessment (for example geopolitical risks and investment execution). It is based in Paris.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out audit or consulting missions on all business lines and worldwide, covering the correct implementation of Group policies, procedures, codes and guidelines, and prevailing laws and regulations.
• Check controls over transversal support functions such as Finance, Procurement, Internal Control and HR.
• Ensure protection of Group physical, intellectual and digital assets.
• Control operational and functional processes.
• Identify risks and weaknesses and propose value-added recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Build constructive relationships with audited entities and senior management, present results to the Executive Committee and work with audited teams to implement recommendations.
• Communicate proactively with corporate, cluster and entity internal control teams to ensure consistent approaches and standards.

Required profile

• Engineering or business graduate with at least 5 years of experience in external and/or internal audit.
• Proven track record in Finance / Operations Control within Air Liquide.
• Fluent English is a must; other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel about 25% of working time under normal circumstances.
