Frontend Engineer Internship (Remote, 6 months)

About the role

Pixel Systems is looking for a motivated Frontend Engineer Intern to join its remote development team for a six‑month, full‑time internship. You will work under the daily mentorship of the Lead Frontend Engineer, helping to design and refine web interfaces for a Mediterranean freight operator.

Key responsibilities

• Convert design mockups into clean, reusable React components.
• Write structured HTML and maintain CSS that matches interface specifications.
• Integrate frontend inputs with backend APIs using fetch and handle data presentation.
• Participate in Git workflows: create feature branches, submit pull requests, and attend code reviews.
• Use browser developer tools to debug layout issues and improve page performance.
• Document component behavior and create simple validation tests.

Required profile

• Basic familiarity with web development technologies and a strong desire to learn.
• Residency in France and ability to work 35 hours per week remotely.
• Enrolled in a relevant academic program and able to obtain university credit if needed.
