Frontend Developer – React & TypeScript

About the role

Join MYM’s fast‑growing team to shape the front‑end experience for millions of users worldwide. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a high‑performance, scalable UI ecosystem that powers the platform’s exclusive content offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern front‑end features using React 18 and TypeScript.
• Maintain and evolve the legacy server‑side rendered front‑end built with Twig, PHP 8 and Symfony 6.4.
• Balance creation of new React components with progressive upgrades of existing server‑rendered pages.
• Adopt a “Prod First” mindset, owning code in production and ensuring stability through proactive monitoring and observability.
• Implement a robust testing strategy, including unit tests with Jest and end‑to‑end tests with Playwright.
• Collaborate closely with designers to uphold the Design System and deliver pixel‑perfect UI/UX.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of engineering excellence.
• Strong expertise in modern front‑end development, especially React 18 and TypeScript.
• Pragmatic and versatile mindset, comfortable working across both modern and legacy codebases.
• Ability to guide technical decisions and partner with product, QA, and design teams.
