Front Office Market Specialist (EMEA)

About the role

Nasdaq is looking for a Front Office Market Specialist in Paris, covering clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The specialist acts as a presales consultant who understands client business and technical needs, designs tailored solutions and demonstrates their value through presentations, demos, workshops and proofs of concept. Working with Calypso, the specialist supports the full presales cycle and contributes to go-to-market strategy and product planning.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to clarify functional and technical requirements
• Deliver presentations, product demonstrations and client workshops
• Lead proof-of-concept delivery, including solution configuration and data integration
• Complete RFI and RFP questionnaires and support proposal development
• Contribute technical expertise and solution positioning to bids and sales strategies
• Partner with Product Management and Product Strategy to share market insights and influence the roadmap
• Support go-to-market initiatives and provide a thorough handover to implementation teams
• Support implementation scoping and identify opportunities for additional products or services

Required profile

• Previous experience in front-office solutions, presales, consulting or implementation
• Strong communication, presentation and client-engagement skills
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into solutions
• Experience delivering product demonstrations, proofs of concept and workshops
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of financial instruments and capital markets
• Understanding of sell-side activities such as investment banking, trading, risk management and position management
• Experience with Calypso, Murex, Kondor, Quantum or similar platforms is highly desirable
