Freelance Lecturer – Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management

About the role

The Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) in Paris is seeking a Freelance Lecturer to deliver and develop courses in Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management. This part‑time academic role offers flexibility while maintaining the same standards as full‑time faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned modules according to the curriculum and agreed timetable.
• Design or amend course content, including creating PowerPoint presentations and other learning materials.
• Provide mentorship, supervision of dissertations, projects and internships, and guide students toward successful assessments.
• Monitor student performance, give regular feedback, and support skill development.
• Participate in academic activities, promote the school, and contribute to faculty initiatives as assigned by the Dean or Chief Academic Officer.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent qualification with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in tourism, hospitality or event management.
• Demonstrated ability to design curriculum and produce high‑quality teaching materials.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
