Freelance Food Safety Auditor/Trainer – Corsica

About the role

Diversey Consulting, part of the Solenis group, is seeking independent consultants to support clients in the hospitality, health and agri‑food sectors with food safety and hygiene improvements. The position is freelance and focuses on the Corsica region, with the possibility to cover additional areas based on availability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site food safety and hygiene audits.
• Assess operational practices and identify improvement opportunities.
• Deliver training sessions on best hygiene practices and regulatory requirements.
• Assist establishments in achieving regulatory compliance.
• Perform sampling and testing when required.
• Prepare audit reports and associated action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Quality, Food Safety, Microbiology, Food Science or related field.
• Proven experience in food safety auditing, training or regulatory support.
• Independent contractor status (freelance, auto‑entrepreneur or company).
• Valid driver’s licence (Category B) and personal vehicle.
• Own computer or tablet for reporting.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety regulations.
• Experience delivering training sessions.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage client relationships.
• Excellent written communication for report preparation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
