Financial Internal Controller – Energy Management

About the role

ENGIE is seeking a Financial Internal Controller for its Energy Management business unit in Paris. The role is part of the Finance team and supports the second line of defense over finance processes and internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) within the Supply & Energy Management Global Business Unit.

Key responsibilities

• Lead income‑related internal control activities and act as backup for segregation of duties controls.
• Collaborate with non‑finance stakeholders such as Ethics & Compliance, Procurement and IT to ensure consistent application of ICFR and fraud‑risk management.
• Implement group policies and best practices, including the deployment of automated controls.
• Support the senior internal controller in monitoring and reporting on control effectiveness.

Required profile

• Experience in internal control, audit or finance within a large, multinational organization.
• Strong understanding of ICFR, commodity management and sales processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small internal‑control team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of internal control frameworks and automated control tools.
