Financial Controller – Renewable Energy

About the role

Eni Plenitude France is seeking a Controller to support its renewable energy business. The role will be based in Paris and will involve close collaboration with finance, operations, and business development teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of business plans, strategic plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor monthly financial and operational results, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
• Produce internal reports and manage planning & control (P&C) systems.
• Prepare external reporting for banks, shareholders and other stakeholders.
• Support SAP configuration and implementation projects.
• Conduct variance analysis on price, exchange rate and volume impacts.
• Calculate key KPIs for renewable projects, including load factor, unit prices, CAPEX and OPEX.
• Perform revenue, cost and impairment analyses for renewable assets.
• Carry out economic and financial valuations for business‑development investments, calculating IRR, NPV and LCOE.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant experience in a similar controller role; renewable‑energy experience is a plus.
• Strong quantitative and financial analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
