Financial Controller - Paris (M/F/X)

About the role

Synechron is a global digital transformation consulting firm partnering with financial institutions, and its Paris Business Unit is growing. It is strengthening its Finance organisation and is looking for a Financial Controller who will partner closely with the Paris Business Unit leadership while working within the wider international Finance organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting, develop short-, mid- and long-term forecasts, monitor performance against plans and give insights to senior management
• Track and report revenue, margins, utilization/billability, cost structure and productivity, and ensure accurate management reporting
• Oversee accounting in line with French GAAP and group standards, ensure timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings, manage statutory accounts and tax compliance, and act as main contact for external auditors
• Partner with Sales, Delivery and PMO on deal reviews, pricing validation and project economics, and guide large consulting projects and investments
• Manage and develop the Finance and PMO teams, set objectives, run performance reviews and promote financial governance and reporting best practices
• Align with group financial policies, collaborate with international finance teams and contribute to global financial initiatives

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of financial management experience in a French company
• Strong experience in a technology consulting company (ESN)
• Proven track record in budgeting and forecasting, KPI monitoring, accounting and reporting, and managing external audits
• Experience in multinational organisations
• Fluent French and English (mandatory)
