Financial Controller / Business Partner (France & Europe)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller / Business Partner to support our French and European entities within a fast‑growing global entertainment company. Based in Villeneuve‑la‑Garenne, you will work on‑site 2‑3 days a week, collaborating with senior leadership and the board to drive financial excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage the general ledger, monitor cash flow and ensure robust internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling processes.
• Analyse financial performance, provide insights for strategic decision‑making and present results to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Continuously improve financial processes to support sustainable business growth.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance with end‑to‑end financial operations experience.
• Proven track record preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with standards.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with senior leadership.
• Prior experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance professional, preferably in professional services or consultancy.
• Fluency in French and the legal right to work in France without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Excel, including financial modelling.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Use of reporting tools for financial analysis.
