Financial Analyst – Treasury (3-year contract)

About the role

The World Bank Group Treasury is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its Treasury operations in Paris for a three‑year fixed‑term assignment. You will work within the Partnerships & Advisory department, contributing to the management of assets, financing programs, and advisory services for public‑sector clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing approximately $300 billion of assets for the World Bank and other official sector investors.
• Support the execution of triple‑A rated financing programs in international and domestic bond and derivative markets.
• Participate in asset‑liability management for the balance sheets of IBRD, IDA, and IFC.
• Help develop and deliver financing and hedging products for developing‑country members.
• Collaborate with World Bank member countries to build their treasury capacity.
• Coordinate with other Bank departments and Finance Partners’ teams on cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in treasury, capital markets, or asset management.
• Familiarity with international bond and derivative markets.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French, Spanish, or Arabic is preferred.
