Europe Communications Lead

About the role

Join an innovative communications team at the forefront of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Based in France, you will shape and execute Europe‑wide communication strategies, building strong relationships with media, industry stakeholders, and key opinion leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans across European markets to boost brand visibility and reputation.
• Lead proactive media relations, including press outreach, briefings, interviews, and spokesperson preparation.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, conference organizers, researchers, and other influential stakeholders.
• Create localized communication initiatives that respect cultural, political, and social nuances of each market.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, product, research, legal, policy, partnerships, safety) to align messaging.
• Draft executive communications such as talking points, FAQs, press releases, partnership announcements, and investment updates.
• Manage regional speaking engagements, awards programs, executive appearances, and company‑hosted events.
• Monitor industry trends, identify storytelling opportunities, and translate technical innovations into clear, engaging narratives.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications within agencies or high‑growth tech firms.
• Proven track record of building trusted relationships with top‑tier media outlets across Europe.
• Strong understanding of both traditional and emerging media channels, including research publications, technical communities, podcasts, and digital influencers.
• Exceptional ability to translate highly technical or scientific concepts into compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience developing executive‑level communications.
