Director, Advisory Compliance (H/F)

About the role

Amgen is looking for a Director, Advisory Compliance (H/F) based in France, reporting to the ELMAC region and to Worldwide Compliance and Business Ethics. The role leads the compliance strategic business partner function across the region, advises senior leadership on compliance strategy and acts as the primary interface with the French data protection authority (CNIL) on privacy matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the compliance strategic business partner role and support commercial, R&D, government relations and value and access activities
• Provide direct compliance support to Amgen executives at GM level and above
• Oversee compliance and privacy programs covering anti-corruption, anti-bribery, data privacy and trade compliance
• Advise leadership on compliance strategy, codes, legislation and policies, and guide responsible use of AI in compliance
• Drive risk management through regional risk assessments and mitigation, and oversee AI-driven compliance monitoring and analytics
• Support investigations, incident management and audit follow-up, and lead third-party and distributor oversight
• Act as Privacy Lead for France and main contact with CNIL, giving risk-based privacy guidance and supporting implementation of privacy requirements
• Develop and deliver compliance, privacy and local codes training, and own the regional compliance data analytics agenda

Required profile

• Basic qualification: doctorate and 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, audit, law or a related field
• Alternative: master's degree and 8 years of experience in the same fields
• Proven risk analysis skills and deep industry expertise
