DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)

About the role

Goodweek is building a next‑generation AI productivity platform and needs a DevOps Engineer to design, implement and operate a secure, scalable cloud environment. You will join a distributed engineering team across France, Spain and the United States and help migrate the service from Scalingo to AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration of the platform from a PaaS (Scalingo) to AWS services such as ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, VPC and IAM.
• Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure following the AWS Well‑Architected Framework.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Implement observability solutions (logging, metrics, alerting) and ensure security and compliance through IAM policies, secrets management and network controls.
• Monitor and optimise cost and performance of AWS resources.
• Collaborate with development teams to support containerisation, tooling and deployment needs.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Team player with excellent communication skills, able to work autonomously.
• Fluent technical English for daily collaboration with US and Spanish teams.

Required skills

• AWS (ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, VPC, IAM).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
• CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions.
• Observability stacks (logs, metrics, alerting).
• Security and compliance best practices in cloud environments.
