Desktop Support Technician

About the role

HCLTech is looking for an Onsite Support Engineer to join its IT team in France. The professional will ensure smooth operation of IT systems for internal users, handling both hardware and software incidents on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, video‑conference equipment and printers within SLA targets.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems, including Cisco switches.
• Provide user assistance and guidance on IT tools and applications.
• Log, track and manage incidents and service requests using ServiceNow.
• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, applications and network components.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French.
• Eligible to work in France.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑focused attitude with good communication skills.
