About the role

We are seeking a Data Operations Assistant to support our advisory work for a French industrial group based in Lyon. The position is fully remote and focuses on ensuring that market and commercial data are accurate, well‑structured, and ready for senior review.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and organize market intelligence relevant to the client’s sector.
• Maintain internal databases tracking counter‑party behavior and competitor activity.
• Assist in preparing clear, data‑backed briefs for negotiations and regulator meetings.
• Verify data points against primary sources to ensure commercial accuracy.
• Format datasets for easy analysis during live client discussions.
• Track operational milestones for ongoing projects and capital moves.
• Research local market conditions to provide context for investment decisions.
• Identify inconsistencies in external information and flag them for senior review.

Required profile

• Strong commercial curiosity and interest in complex deal structures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot mismatched data.
• Proficient English communication, able to summarize information clearly.
• Disciplined work ethic suited to a fully remote environment.
• Ability to follow specific research instructions and ask clarifying questions.
