Data Analyst Lead – Growth & Product Analytics
amo · Paris
Job description
About the role
amo is looking for a Data Analyst Lead to own analytics across its growth and product areas. The role partners with growth marketing, product, engineering and leadership to define success metrics, reconcile data across systems and turn messy inputs into clear, trusted insights. It is both hands-on and strategic: you will build analysis yourself while setting standards for how data is defined.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end analytics for growth initiatives across acquisition, activation, retention and experimentation.
- Partner with growth marketing teams at scale to measure channel performance, attribution, funnels and cohort behaviour.
- Reconcile and validate data across marketing platforms, analytics tools and internal systems to establish a reliable source of truth.
- Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports that drive day-to-day decisions and long-term strategy.
- Define and standardise core metrics, naming conventions and data definitions used across teams.
- Lead complex analyses such as funnel, cohort and experiment evaluations, and turn ambiguous questions into structured analyses.
- Mentor and guide other analysts as the team grows.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or a related role.
- Significant experience partnering with growth marketing teams at scale (paid, organic, lifecycle or multi-channel).
- Proven experience reconciling data across tools and platforms and spotting data quality issues.
- Fluency with BI and analytics tools; ability to scope projects, prioritise work and present to leadership.
- Nice to have: attribution modelling, consumer products or high-growth tech background, and analytics infrastructure experience.
Required skills
- Strong SQL and comfort with large, imperfect datasets.
- BI and analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude or GA.
What we offer
- Onsite work 5 days a week in a central Paris office near Opera.
- Full health care coverage and maternity, paternity and second-parent leave with salary maintained.
- 8-9 weeks of vacation per year, including 5 weeks of paid time off and ~11 bank holidays, plus two annual shutdowns.
- Relocation support: visa help, covered Airbnb, relocation agency, French paperwork assistance and French lessons.
