About the role
Semji is looking for a Customer Success Team Lead to drive adoption and value realization for more than 500 enterprise clients using its AI‑powered SEO platform. Reporting to senior leadership, you will turn the company’s vision into daily actions, turning users into power users and ensuring high gross retention.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of eight Customer Success Managers, conducting weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and coaching to shift from support to strategic advisory.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding and ramp‑up of new CSMs to achieve full productivity quickly.
- Drive adoption of core features such as the Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI Agent tools through structured onboarding, proactive usage monitoring and scalable education resources.
- Continuously improve CSM playbooks, QBR processes and risk‑mitigation plans, ensuring a standardized Success Plan for every client.
- Monitor product usage metrics (DAU, WAU) to identify churn risks and feed customer insights back to Product and Engineering.
- Represent the team in high‑stakes client meetings, provide executive sponsorship for at‑risk accounts and act as the primary liaison between Customer Success, Account Management and product teams.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS Customer Success, with at least 2 years in a people‑management role.
- Proven track record of improving adoption, retention and upsell metrics.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate usage data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to senior executives.
