Corporate Finance Analyst – Montpellier

About the role

We are an established French group undergoing strong transformation, operating in an industrial‑project and long‑term investment environment. We are looking for a Corporate Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in Montpellier and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and enhance corporate financial models, including long‑term business plans, forecasts and valuations.
• Develop and optimise project‑finance models to support go/no‑go investment decisions.
• Deliver transaction‑related modelling such as partial asset disposals, structuring and valuation analysis.
• Perform IRR, NPV, DCF and MOIC analyses, run scenario and sensitivity tests, and translate results for top‑management.
• Collaborate with operational teams to validate financial data and prepare high‑quality materials for shareholders and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Transaction Services, Financial Advisory or Corporate Finance.
• Proven ability to build financial models from scratch, not just use existing templates.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with business acumen and excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑evolving, high‑autonomy environment.
• Good level of English for daily interaction with a London‑based fund.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (3‑statement models, DCF, IRR/NPV, sensitivity analysis).
