Cook Lecturer / Trainer (UK) – Freelance

About the role

The Workery is expanding its proven online learning model to the United Kingdom and seeks a seasoned culinary professional to design and deliver high‑quality cook training programmes. This freelance position is fully remote from the UK, with occasional travel to the Paris headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Design comprehensive learning pathways, including curricula, resources, and assessments, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Document programme specifics for sales and support teams.
• Create multi‑channel content: scriptwriting, graphics, proofreading, and video demonstrations.
• Present technical culinary demonstrations on camera.
• Act as the lead culinary expert for pedagogical teams and manage a network of suppliers, professional partners, and external assessors.

Required profile

• Fluent English speaker.
• 7‑10 years of professional culinary experience with mastery of core UK techniques.
• Previous experience as a trainer or lecturer.
• Deep understanding of the professional plumbing ecosystem in the UK market.
• Ability to interpret professional standards and qualifications.
• Strong pedagogical skills, patience, and empathy.
• Comfortable using digital tools and platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal and client‑facing abilities.
