Contrôleur de Gestion – Partenaire Finance OPEX (Permanent)

About the role

The Finance Business Partner for the French market and Global Support Functions will own the reporting, planning and forecasting of operating expenses (OPEX). The role ensures accurate monthly close, drives OPEX transformation initiatives and supports strategic cost‑management projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consolidation of the OPEX scope and coordinate inputs from Centres of Excellence, local finance, RtR and other stakeholders.
• Drive efficiencies through harmonisation and standardisation of OPEX processes across the business unit.
• Support change‑management by promoting self‑service reporting on SharePoint for budget owners.
• Monitor budget performance, conduct actual‑vs‑plan analysis and maintain strong review routines with local finance leads.
• Prepare the annual budget, lead monthly closing and mid‑month forecasting, and present results to senior finance leadership.
• Provide consolidated OPEX analysis, focusing on labour, cars, facilities and travel, and ensure accurate FTE tracking.
• Identify and track OPEX‑related risks and opportunities, and deliver ad‑hoc analyses for competitiveness initiatives.

Required profile

• Post‑qualified finance experience (e.g., external audit) with a strong background in OPEX tracking.
• Previous business‑partnering role, preferably in FMCG.
• Proficient English language skills.
• Advanced performance evaluation, data analytics and reporting skills.
• Intermediate financial modelling, project and change management capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting processes and systems, with intermediate accounting expertise.
