Consultant Senior – Conseil aux Directions Financières – Nantes

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Financial Management Advisory team in Nantes. You will support finance functions of French and international groups, helping them navigate daily operations, transformation programmes and complex financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ad‑hoc support to finance teams during month‑end closings, reporting cycles and budgeting phases.
• Externalise the preparation of consolidated accounts and manage ERP/reporting implementation projects.
• Identify and document accounting impacts of exceptional events such as cyber‑attacks or restructurings.
• Improve accounting and management processes, reduce cycle times and enhance data reliability.
• Design and deploy internal control frameworks and redesign analytical accounting structures.
• Define financial and operational KPIs, create automated dashboards (Power BI) and support EPM tool roll‑outs.
• Implement accounting standard changes (IFRS transitions) and support IPO readiness activities.
• Assist in M&A integration projects, including accounting structuring, purchase price allocation and post‑merger reporting.

Required profile

• Graduate (Bac +5) from a business school, engineering school or university with a finance specialization.
• Significant experience in finance consulting, corporate finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, consolidation, reporting and ERP environments.
• Ability to lead projects, supervise junior consultants and work collaboratively with clients.
• Fluent in French and English.
