Consultant Indépendant – Auditeur/Formateur Sécurité Alimentaire

About the role

Diversey Consulting is seeking independent consultants to perform food‑safety audits and training for clients across several French regions. As a freelance auditor/trainer you will support restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities and agro‑food companies in improving hygiene practices and meeting regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site hygiene and food‑safety audits.
• Assess field practices, identify improvement opportunities and propose corrective actions.
• Deliver training sessions on good hygiene practices and regulatory standards.
• Assist establishments in achieving compliance with HACCP and other regulations.
• Perform sampling and controls when required.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Quality, Food Safety, Microbiology, Food Science or related field.
• Proven experience in food‑safety auditing, training or regulatory support.
• Backgrounds such as independent HACCP consultants, quality auditors, or quality managers in collective/commercial catering are preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and French/European food‑safety regulations.
• Experience designing and delivering training programmes.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage client visits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for report writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
