Compliance & Operational Risk Specialist (Vice President)

About the role

Bank of America is seeking a Vice President‑level Compliance & Operational Risk Specialist to join its EU Compliance & Operational Risk (COR) Risk Quantification & Measurement team. The role will operate in the second line of defence, supporting the legal entities BofA Europe DAC and BofA SE SA in Paris or Dublin. You will work closely with 1LOD and 2LOD partners and report to Legal Entity Risk Leadership and C‑Suite stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver legal‑entity level GCOR programme elements on schedule, ensuring compliance with internal policies and EU supervisory expectations.
• Conduct independent data analysis and risk identification inventory (Risk ID) to support operational risk management.
• Execute, review, and challenge operational risk frameworks across key regulatory programmes.
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate compliance and operational risks in alignment with global compliance and operational risk policies.
• Coordinate with 1LOD and 2LOD partners to produce internal and external regulatory deliverables.
• Maintain documentation and administrative requirements for risk programmes.

Required profile

• Vice President‑level experience in compliance, operational risk, or related functions within a banking environment.
• Strong knowledge of EU regulatory expectations and supervisory standards.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and collaborate across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with second‑line‑of‑defence risk management processes.
