KYC Supervisor – French Market (Freelance)

About the role

Swan is looking for an experienced KYC Supervisor to lead its French market compliance efforts on a freelance basis. You will combine hands‑on case reviews with coaching and process improvement for a growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough KYC/KYB reviews, ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies.
• Resolve complex alerts and edge cases, providing tailored solutions.
• Onboard and train new team members on procedures, tools, and best practices.
• Manage daily team health, schedules, leave requests and shift coverage to meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Risk on projects to streamline KYC processes.
• Implement quality controls and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of KYC/AML experience in fintech, bank or similar environment.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or mentoring experience.
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulatory framework and a protective mindset.
• Data‑driven with solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication in English and fluent French (or other listed languages).

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern compliance tools and CRMs such as Zendesk, Forest and Next Matter.
• Hands‑on experience managing team performance, KPIs and coaching programs.
