Compliance Officer (Lyon, France)

About the role

ARCHIMED is seeking a Compliance Officer to join its Lyon office. Reporting to the RCCI, the role will oversee compliance and regulatory matters for the firm’s AIFM‑regulated activities and its retail‑focused evergreen fund strategy, MED Access.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and update the regulatory mapping applicable to ARCHIMED’s activities as an AMF‑authorised AIFM, covering Directive 2011/61/EU, Level‑II Regulation (EU) 231/2013 and the AMF General Regulation.
• Maintain and update internal policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements for an AMF.
• Coordinate preparation and submission of AMF and CSSF regulatory filings, including Annex IV AIFMD reporting, and manage interactions with the AMF on supervisory matters.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments (AIFMD II, MiFID, SFDR, CBDF Directive, ELTIF 2.0) and assess their impact on ARCHIMED’s operations.
• Support the compliance framework for MED Access, ensuring adherence to FCPR and ELTIF 2.0 vehicle requirements.
• Monitor compliance with the ELTIF Regulation (EU) 2015/760 as amended by ELTIF 2.0 (EU) 2023/606, including portfolio composition, liquidity, leverage limits and investor eligibility.
• Review and advise internal teams and external stakeholders on regulatory matters, fostering a strong compliance culture.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of AIFM regulations, AMF requirements and European investment fund directives.
• Experience in regulatory reporting, filing and interaction with supervisory authorities.
• Ability to monitor legislative changes and assess operational impact.
• Excellent communication skills to act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
