Compliance Engineer

About the role

Youtrust is expanding its Digital Trust chain and needs a Compliance Engineer to lead end‑to‑end compliance programs. You will own gap analyses, remediation roadmaps and certification processes for eIDAS v2, NIS2 and ISO 27001, acting as the main liaison with auditors and certification bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full compliance lifecycle for eIDAS v2, including gap analysis, remediation planning, implementation tracking and certification preparation.
• Map NIS2 obligations to Youtrust’s scope, define compliance boundaries and drive remediation and reporting cycles.
• Maintain and evolve the ISO 27001 program, coordinating internal audits and updating ISMS documentation.
• Serve as primary contact with external auditors, ANSSI and LSTI, preparing audit packages and managing certification timelines.
• Monitor European regulatory landscape (ETSI, PCI DSS, etc.) and translate new requirements into actionable initiatives.
• Contribute to Trusted Zone security, fraud detection and on‑call rotation, building automation with n8n and AI tools.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with at least one technical compliance standard (eIDAS v2, ETSI EN 319 series, PCI DSS, etc.) and proven ability to deliver remediation.
• Track record of running internal audits and managing ISO 27001 programs; experience with ANSSI‑qualified environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with NIS2 directive and ability to map obligations to a SaaS business.
• Strong communication skills in French (C2) and English (B2) for interacting with auditors and internal teams.
• Self‑sufficient, able to manage multiple long‑cycle programs in a fast‑moving scale‑up.
