Commissioning Manager – Power Plant EPC Project

About the role

The Commissioning Manager will support the Lead of the commissioning department for the EPC project "Centrale à moteurs Corse du Sud" in Ricanto, Corsica. The role combines home‑office preparation with on‑site organization, overseeing both direct and indirect teams to ensure successful pre‑commissioning (PreCom) and commissioning (Com) phases.

Key responsibilities

• Review and comment technical annexes, raise clarifications with discipline leads and the Project Execution Manager.
• Prepare missing standards and technical specifications, attend kick‑off and project review meetings.
• Develop detailed PreCom & Com planning, supervise document preparation and CMS database alignment with contractual requirements.
• Finalize detailed budgets for PreCom & Com and interface with the client’s commissioning team.
• Monitor mechanical completion, personnel and equipment availability, and manage on‑site teams and subcontractors.
• Coordinate vendor representatives during PreCom & Com, ensuring performance meets contractual obligations.
• Validate manpower skills, define additional resource needs, and procure required equipment.
• Prepare final PreCom & Com dossiers and support site red‑markup activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years experience in commissioning document preparation and on‑site commissioning management for power plants, preferably in French‑speaking countries.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Ajaccio, Corsica.
• Fluent written and spoken French and English.
